Life is Movement.
We move out of need -- to seek
food, eat, digest, and eliminate, to avoid danger,
to find a mate. We also move out of our longings --
to become, to fulfill dreams, to express passions.
We are conceived, gestated, born, grow up, and live
our lives through movement, through constant rhythmic
pulsations. Returning to and practicing the Fundamentals
of human movement is calming and restorative. It helps
heal injuries to our selves and helps us grow more
articulate, co-ordinated, expressive and joyful in
our movement and therefore in every aspect of our
lives.
